DESCRIPTIONS AND AVAILABILITY

The portrayal of products on the site will depend upon the characteristics and capabilities of your computer. Natural products will also vary. We cannot therefore guarantee that products will be identical to their representations on the site.

Our site is regularly updated and we aim to hold sufficient stock to meet likely orders. However, there may be occasions when items will be temporarily out of stock. Should a product be unavailable we shall advise you of that fact and of the anticipated delivery date if it is to be replaced. We can also offer you alternatives. If neither of these is satisfactory you may cancel the order immediately and a full refund will be made.

PRICES

All prices are in £ sterling and include VAT. We accept payment by American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron, Visa Debit, Switch and Solo.

ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER

All orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. Acceptance will occur when we dispatch the goods to you. The acknowledgement confirmation sent in response to your order is provisional only and is intended only to indicate receipt of your order. We shall notify you by e-mail in the event that we do not accept any order and any payment will be fully refunded.

CANCELLATION BY YOU

You may cancel your order by [e-mail, telephone or post] quoting the order number in our order acknowledgement. If the goods have been dispatched by us, cancellation will only occur on receipt by us of the returned goods in their original packing. All returns to us are at your expense. No cancellations will be accepted if made later than 8 working days after receipt of the goods by you.

In the event of cancellation in accordance with these terms a full refund will be made. In the event cancellation occurs after the goods have been dispatched by us the refund will be made on receipt by us of the returned goods less any return carriage charges not paid by you.  Please note that the right to cancellation does not apply to goods which have been personalised or highly perishable goods i.e.: goods which have a shelf life at room temperature of 48 hours or less.

None of the above affects your statutory rights.

Please note that all products may contain nut traces. Products containing alcohol are not available for sale to those under the age of 18 and by ordering any products containing alcohol you represent to us that you are at least 18 years old.

APPLICABLE LAW

Our site is operated and controlled in England. The relationship between us and all matters connected with the site and any order are governed by English Law. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to all matters connected with our relationship the site and any order or contract between us.

1. Delivery Methods & Costs: Standard service deliveries within mainland United Kingdom are made by Royal Mail or Parcelforce, or by a courier of our choice.  Our shipping costs are based on delivery within mainland UK for a package up to 25kg in weight to a single address. These costs are added to your order when you checkout. If costs are not quoted at checkout please telephone or email us for a quote. We reserve the right to refuse sale of goods. Please note that after despatch, any changes to the delivery address will incur additional charges. We will deliver to the address as you enter it and cannot accept any liability for late or failed delivery if the quoted address is incorrect or incomplete.  If you are not sure of the address we would recommend you check before proceeding with your order.

2.  Cancellation of Orders: Customers have the right to cancel their order without reason by informing us within 7 working days of receipt of the goods, and returning the goods to us. In this case they will receive a full refund less any charge for any items which have been unsealed or consumed. Refund will normally take place within 30 days of written notice of cancellation once the goods have been returned to us suitably packaged. All returned items must be in good condition. Notification of order cancellation must be in writing. We strive to ensure that all our goods are supplied to our customers in perfect condition and that every possible precaution is taken to protect the integrity of the product that is sold. To this end, we do not exchange food, beverage or any other item that has come into contact with the person. If you do not return the goods as required we may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods. You have the right of cancellation (see above) of all orders save as regards special items/orders (i.e. where goods supplied have not been as
website specification but have been supplied or manufactured to your own special request or specification requirements) where there is no right of cancellation.


3. Damaged or Faulty Goods: Customer satisfaction is paramount to us at Organic Italy and we are committed to providing a quality service. Everything we sell is made in Italy and we are proud to promote some of the finest produce available in the country. Obviously, we want you to be delighted with your package. We take the utmost care to ensure that all packages leave here in perfect condition. However, sometimes things can go wrong for reasons outside our control, and if your package has been damaged in transit or we have made an error or the goods are faulty, you must contact us within 7 days of receipt and if appropriate we will exchange them. We will only send a replacement product once the damaged items have been returned. Unfortunately, once products have been used or removed from their original packaging, we are unable to exchange them. Please keep your proof of purchase. All goods shall be checked by you or on your behalf upon delivery and any damage or shortages notified to us. We will not be liable in respect of any damage or shortages not notified to us within 3 working days of delivery.

4. Complaints: Complaints should be made in writing to the contact address given within 7 days of receipt of goods, or in the case of complaints about non-receipt of goods, not less than 28 days after ordering. Complaints will be acknowledged within 24 hours of receipt, and will be dealt with as speedily as possible. If a complaint proves to be vexatious or frivolous then you may be liable to pay us for our costs and expenses in investigating the complaint.
